Dog ice cream is the ideal for your 4-legged friends in the hot seasons, everyone will have the temptation or even to have a taste in our ice cream at our dogs, even if we know very well that it is not the ideal food for them.
The idea of a dog ice cream was born in the United States in 99, but in Italy it only arrived in 2005.

Homemade dog ice cream
Many companies have already oriented towards this new market by creating products that we can find in our bars during the summer.
But if you want you can also prepare ice cream for your four-legged friends in a very simple way.
Ice and Ice for fruit dogs
In our example we will use strawberries, but this recipe can be made with many types of fruit like bananas, apples, berries.
Some receptacles indicate using thin white yogurt, if you have the doubt that your dog is lactose intolerant you can replace it with the yoghurt of soy.
Then put in a blender a strawberry bowl and 3-4 jars of thin yogurt (or soy yogurt) blend all.
Pour the mixture into the ice tank and insert into the freezer.
When it is well frozen, you will have plenty of ice cream cubes to give your dog on a hot summer days.
Using this technique you will have as final result of ice, if you want a consistency more similar to ice cream, after smoothing the poured ingredients in a container.
Place the container with the mixture in the freezer and mix it every 20 minutes until it has the desired consistency.
Ice for carrots and peas dogs
We can prepare some ice for our dogs also with vegetables quickly and easily.
Take carrots, previously cut into small pieces, fresh peas and put them in a blender with water, then give a smoothie, leaving the vegetables in pieces.
Now pour the mixture obtained in the ice moulds and place them in the freezer until they are well frozen.
